Homebridge accepts monetary and in‐kind donations of any size so long as they consist of:
- Checks drawn on U.S. banks
- Online donations

- In‐kind donations
We make commercially reasonable efforts to convert all donations into U.S. dollars upon receipt.

Recurring Donation
Donors have the option to give recurring or one‐time donations.
All gifts unrestricted and restricted
Donations to Homebridge are used exclusively to support our mission and align with our values. We will carefully consider the organization's needs and use your gift where we determine it is most needed so that all donations may, directly and indirectly, support Homebridge. We strive to make every donation count toward a meaningful impact on our community. If you specifically request that funds, be distributed to an accredited Program at the time of donation, we will honor such a request as long as the distribution does not conflict with Homebridge policies.
We reserve the right to choose whether to accept offers of support
Homebridge may refuse any gift that does not sufficiently benefit the organization, conflicts with its mission, threatens its reputation, or is prohibited by law.
Thank you
We thank all the donors who have supported us in our mission.
Donation Refund Policy
We are grateful for your donation and support of our organization. Because we rely on the support of individual donors to carry out our work, refunds are only granted in exceptional circumstances within 30 days of the date of the donation. They are returned using the original payment method. Circumstances in which refunds might be granted include:
- If the donation was made unknowingly, for example in a situation where a donation was made with a stolen or lost card.
- If your donation was intended for another organization.
- If you accidentally entered the wrong amount or made a duplicate gift.
- If you accidentally created a monthly donation when your intention was to make a one-time donation.
- If we are unable to honor donor restrictions.
- Homebridge makes every effort to honor donor‐requested restrictions and use donations consistent with donor‐expressed wishes. If Homebridge cannot or does not honor the donor's written intent, a refund may be considered. In those situations, donors can also re‐designate their gift to another purpose.
- Other similar exceptional circumstances.
Recurring Donation Refunds
Donors like you are critically important to our work. There is no contract involved, and you can cancel at any time. Your recurring donation will remain in effect until you notify Homebridge that you wish to change or cancel future contributions. Please remember that we will need a reasonable amount of time to update your records and allow 7 business days for completion. We understand that circumstances change, and donors may need to adjust the amount of their gift, request a future end date, or cancel. If you are considering canceling for financial reasons, please consider that we offer quarterly and annual giving options that align better with your budget and enable you to continue your critical support.
Please review our Donation Refund Policy above if you are requesting a refund. Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the date of the donation.
Refund Terms and Conditions:
A refund request must be made within 30 days of the date of the donation, which applies to both one‐time and recurring donations. A refund will be executed within 30 days of receipt of the written notification.
Refunds are made using the original method of payment. For example, if you donated with a credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card. Homebridge may ask for proof of identity and backup documentation before issuing a refund.
Charitable Tax Status
If the donor has filed a tax return claiming a charitable deduction for the refunded gift, the donor is responsible for contacting their tax advisor to determine if their tax return needs to be amended. You are responsible for all tax considerations that may arise if your donation is refunded.
